Would like to add

[edit]

I honestly, would even like to add,शश Zaza being the Sankrit word for Hare and the Zaza people speaking a dialect of Kurdish to the original change request. [1]https://www.learnsanskrit.cc/translate?search=Hare&dir=au 2001:16B8:C088:D00:5C08:425A:D6CF:30F9 (talk) 11:24, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

sadly, I'm only capable of providing modern language examples, so the phonetic doesn't mach a 100%.
But another word with simmilar phonetic to 'Kurd' is the Farsi/Persian/Iranian term for again 'rabbit'/'hare', خرگوش Khargoosh, romanized.

I have not found a better one. 2001:16B8:C088:D00:5C08:425A:D6CF:30F9 (talk) 11:58, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It’s not a very big change but… In this segment:

Main languages Arabic Kurdish Persian Turkish Zaza–Gorani

It’s more fitting and correct if Kurdish was the first language and then Arabic being the second. Since we’re Kurds and obviously have more Kurdish speakers rather than Arabic ones. The list may not have been in order but it’s quite misleading. Boring-suzan (talk) 00:20, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it was in alphabetical order Kingsmasher678 (talk) 17:41, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be better if I include that its a majority language instead and put it on the top of the list Ilovefood123123 (talk) 05:39, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oh is wasn't complaining, just pointing out that it was already in an order of a sort. Carry on!

No worries whatsoever, I didn’t find you to be complaining or anything. Ilovefood123123 (talk) 17:04, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 22:57, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Map: reliable source?

[edit]

1. Which reliable source(s) back the map? 2. The map shows on area in Armenia but the article says nothing about it: why? a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 21:42, 18 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology

[edit]

In Persian, in the central province, we call the mountain "Gordä" and in Russian it is called Gora, so Kurdistan means a mountainous place; And Khorasan, which is the old name of Afghanistan, means a mountainous place. Thank you. This is not a quote. Amir Arab 194.86.153.167 (talk) 12:46, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
